Anyway, the most recent project is a submission to a competition the Dallas Arboretum is having. It calls for designs of a storybook house (small simple pavilion like structures inspired by a fairytale). The fairy tale I took my inspiration from is called The Bamboo Cutter’s Daughter. Hosestly, I chose it because I wanted to design a Japanese pavilion. Here is my model:

Thanks for the comment. Yes, we're working on saving for a down payment so hopefully in a few months we can find a house.
I think they decided not to do the playhouse thing. They were going to give it away at the Pecan Festival a few weekends ago, but gave away bikes instead.
Yes, we do need to get together soon. My parents are coming in this Saturday during the afternoon. Next weekend, we are supposed to go to the fair with Kristi & Andrew, and friends from church. Hmm...I think we're just going to have to pick a day and stick with it. Call Randy sometime. I'll let him figure this out. :)
