I have several ideas for this IF, we'll see if I can get any more of them out.
While I didn't indend this to be a comment on the current disaster in Haiti, looking back on it I made the connection. Which completly changed the mood of this sketch for me (from playful to deadly serious). Read it for what it is worth.

ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find it right now, but I have an old poem where I personified the desert as terribly angry about having its sand stuck down by concrete and tar, and all the wind and heat was a conscious retribution against humanity.
