There is nothing dorky about ninjas or pirates! Of course, it could have been less dorky had one group been Robin Hood and his merry men.
Oh there is nothing particularly dorky about pirates or ninjas in and of themselves, but pirates vs ninjas…I can’t really describe the cult of dork that has spawned over this, you’ll have to Google it or something.
